Naria grew up on Naboo under the rule of Queen Soruna and Governor Donta Gesset. She was raised in the capital of Theed in secret under the tutelage of her father the Jedi Knight Ras Fleetfire until the age of 10 when he was forced to leave Theed to draw away an Imperial Inquisitor that had tracked him to the Emperor’s homeworld. Before he left, he made his daughter take a serious oath to restore balance to the Force no matter the cost. Naria never saw her father again, and although she was taken away to an uncharted world in Wild Space, she never forgot her father’s teachings. She kept hidden the lightsaber he gave to her, and practiced diligently whenever she could find time. Among the aliens on the uncharted world, Nara developed her own way of life separate from her community but in tune with the Force. Her connection with the Force helped her convince locals to work with her from time to time rather than shun her entirely, and by age 17 she had developed a comfortable lifestyle believing herself safe from the reach of the Empire, but alone on a world far, far away from home.
